Learning team work and patience.
When my son Noah joined the Baxter Cub Scouts, I was so impressed by how fast he started learning teamwork and patience – that he can’t always be first in line. He has learned a lot about working together towards a goal, thinking of others instead of just about himself. He’s now more aware of leaving the world a better place than you found it (even when camping, clean up after yourself.)
I love that Scouting reinforces and models good moral character with a Christian heart, while also helping boys emulate the older males they are around, which is so important in this fatherless world.
